Tropicasino Class Syllabus - Beginners This is the class to take if you're new to Salsa Dancing. In this class you will learn the Basics of Salsa, as well as many interesting moves. The time for a student covering this first level varies based on his/her the ability and the hours of practice. An average of 10 hours of instruction in group classes could be a safe number to estimate to master this level. This, of course, could take a lot shorter period of time if the student masters the basic steps/turns and
practice at all the time the keeping of the beat of the music with the feet.
